What is Quinoa?

Well actually, it’s a seed, not a grain. So it’s chuck full of protein, stuff you wouldn’t normally get from plain ol’ rice or pasta. If you’d like to read more about the benefits of quinoa, I recommend reading this article that really simplifies things for us here. But let’s get to the real reason for eating quinoa… Texture! I love the popping, crispy, soft texture of quinoa.

Every cook should know the basics. You can make this deliciously fragrant batch of quinoa with just eight ingredients.

*I really recommend using vegetable broth, because it adds a lot of delicious flavor. To save extra bucks, make your own with our simple vegetable broth method.
