If you ever have some extra biscuit dough, I really recommend making this garlic monkey bread. It’s such an easy bread to make, fun to eat, and tastes delicious. It like having garlic knots without the hassle of making dough from scratch or gettin g dressed when the delivery guy arrives.

Garlic Parmesan Monkey Bread with Rosemary and Thyme

Ingredients

  • 1 Pillsbury Butter Biscuits
  • 2 Tbspn Margarine
  • 1 tspn Rosemary
  • 1 tspn Thyme
  • 2 tspn Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

Directions

Total Time: 45 minutes

Servings: 6 Servings.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. Mix together melted butter, rosemary, thyme and garlic powder.
  3. Cut each biscuit into quarters and place in a small bowl. Pour half of butter mixture over biscuits and toss until coated. Sprinkle over with parmesan cheese.
  4. Place biscuit bits in a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. When done, pour the rest of the butter mixture over the top with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

Notes, Tips and Ideas!

  • If you have one of those pretty bundt pans, I would recommend using that for the extra wow factor. Double up the recipe so that it really fills up the pan when baked.

  • Garnish with fresh minced parsley if you have too! I didn’t… but I would have! It’s such perfect combo with the bread.
